The rest is virgin cashmere. The yarn comes from a spinning mill in Prato, and we knit it in our family's factory, in the Tuscan textile district. Reclaimed fibre has already been spun once, so it is shorter than new fibre and pills a little sooner, which is why the washing instructions matter. The yarn is two-ply – two strands twisted around each other before knitting – so the knit holds its shape through washing. Origin traceability certified \u003cstrong\u003eTfashion 100% Made in Italy\u003c\/strong\u003e, which certifies the making and not just the label. \u003ca href=\"\/pages\/recycled-cashmere\"\u003eHow recycled cashmere is made\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e63\" × 11\" (160 × 28 cm), one size, about 4 oz (115 g). Several colours, from neutrals to darks.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHand wash cool, or use the wool or delicate cycle at 30°C. Don't wring it: press the water out with a towel and dry flat, away from direct heat and sun. A cashmere comb lifts off any pills that form.
