A wrap wide enough to cover both shoulders and long enough to cross at the front. The yarn is a thicker 2/18 count, so the wrap has real weight on the shoulders: about 11 ounces. It falls in soft folds rather than holding a shape: in red, over a black trench; in beige, over a dress in the evening.

100% cashmere, at least half of it recycled: fibre recovered from cashmere garments and offcuts that already existed, turned back into yarn instead of waste. The rest is virgin cashmere. The yarn comes from a spinning mill in Prato, and we knit it in our family's factory, in the Tuscan textile district. Reclaimed fibre has already been spun once, so it is shorter than new fibre and pills a little sooner, which is why the washing instructions matter. The yarn is two-ply – two strands twisted around each other before knitting – so the knit holds its shape through washing. Origin traceability certified Tfashion 100% Made in Italy, which certifies the making and not just the label. How recycled cashmere is made

80.75" × 21.75" (205 × 55 cm), one size, about 11 oz (310 g). Several colours, from neutrals to darks.

Hand wash cool, or use the wool or delicate cycle at 30°C. Don't wring it: press the water out with a towel and dry flat, away from direct heat and sun. A cashmere comb lifts off any pills that form. Cared for this way, it will last years. Care and washing
