Wool certified RWS – Responsible Wool Standard – what this means
The Responsible Wool Standard is an international standard for sheep welfare and grazing land management: it prohibits mulesing and follows the wool through the whole chain, from the farm to the spinning mill. It covers the wool, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our family's factory in Prato.
Viscose LENZING™ ECOVERO™ – what this means
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is a viscose made by Lenzing from wood grown in responsibly managed forests, in a process that uses less water and emits about half the CO₂ of conventional viscose; every fibre is traceable back to its origin. It covers the fibre, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our family's factory in Prato.
Is this poncho pure cashmere?
No, it's a blend: 40% extra-fine merino wool, 25% viscose, 25% polyamide and 10% cashmere.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash it, or use the wool or delicate cycle at 30°C. Don't wring it: press the water out with a towel and dry it flat.
How do I wear it day to day?
With jeans or slim trousers. The built-in sleeves make it easier to wear than an open cape, because it stays on the shoulders on its own.
Is there anything to pay on delivery?
No. The price includes VAT and any import charges, and we take care of customs ourselves, so there is nothing to pay the courier when it arrives. It ships free from Italy by FedEx, in 2–5 working days.
What if I need to send it back?
Free returns within 30 days. One free return per order: a second return on the same order is sent back at your own cost, and nothing is deducted from the refund. Orders placed in November and December can be returned until 31 January.

A poncho with sleeves, so the warmth reaches your arms as well as your shoulders. It stays in place while you drive, carry a bag or sit at a desk, which makes it easy to keep on all day, indoors and out. In grey, over leggings and trainers, it is the one for a long flight.
