Wool certified RWS – Responsible Wool Standard – what this means
The Responsible Wool Standard is an international standard for sheep welfare and grazing land management: it prohibits mulesing and follows the wool through the whole chain, from the farm to the spinning mill. It covers the wool, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our family's factory in Prato.
Viscose LENZING™ ECOVERO™ – what this means
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is a viscose made by Lenzing from wood grown in responsibly managed forests, in a process that uses less water and emits about half the CO₂ of conventional viscose; every fibre is traceable back to its origin. It covers the fibre, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our family's factory in Prato.
Does the blend itch against the neck?
No. The 10% cashmere softens the hand of the wool, and the scarf is made to sit against the skin of the neck.
How do I wash this scarf?
By hand, or in the machine on the wool or delicate cycle at 30°C. Lay it flat to dry.
How do I store it over the summer?
Once it is washed and dry, fold it without pressing it down and put it in a breathable cloth bag, cotton or linen, with cedar or lavender against moths. Avoid plastic bags, which hold moisture in.
Is there anything to pay on delivery?
No. The price includes VAT and any import charges, and we take care of customs ourselves, so there is nothing to pay the courier when it arrives. It ships free from Italy by FedEx, in 2–5 working days.
What if I need to send it back?
Free returns within 30 days. One free return per order: a second return on the same order is sent back at your own cost, and nothing is deducted from the refund. Orders placed in November and December can be returned until 31 January.
